Oxygen Destroyer son: Lord Kaiju en guitarra y voz, Joey Walker en guitarra, Chris Craven en batería, y Paul Wright en el bajo. El disco fue mezclado y masterizado por Noah Buchanan, mientras que el arte de la portada fue hecho por Shoggoth Kinetics.
Desde que inicia con "Guardian of the Universe (The Final Hope)", el disco no se detiene en asaltar tu cerebro con violencia puramente thrash metal, quedando solo la voz y alguna forma de cantar para el black metal, por eso en "Shadow of Evil" o "Thy Name Is Legion" la banda realmente atropella sin piedad en canciones de regular o duración estándar, sin embargo hay otras en las que no necesitan mucho tiempo para aniquilarte como "Drawing Power from the Empathetic Priestess" o "Nightmarish Visions of the Devil’s Envoy", en las que no llegan ni a los dos minutos.
Hacia el final la banda recién se toma un "descanso" en la black/death "Banishing the Iris of Sempiternal Tenebrosity", con un inicio en plan a lo Slayer en "Post Mortem", y que recurre al uso de voces mas death metal, blast beats y elementos que si bien es cierto no generan tanta violencia como en sus otras canciones, le dan cierta variedad, de igual forma el final con "Exterminating the Ravenous Horde of Perpetual Darkness and Annihilation", que inicia a medio tiempo para luego volarte la cabeza como ocurre en todo el disco.
"Guardian Of The Universe" es un buen disco de thrash y hasta black/death, que no tiene pierde, así debe ser este estilo, violento y sin contemplaciones.
Mis favoritas: "Guardian of the Universe (The Final Hope)", "Drawing Power from the Empathetic Priestess", "Thy Name Is Legion".
